- No. 1 – Princeton University – Ranked number 1 is PU, a private institution, located in Princeton, New Jersey. It is a medium sized university, 4-year, co-ed college in a suburban setting. Currently offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. Its tuition and fees are $43,450 for 2015-16 school year.
- No. 2 – Harvard University – Most of you might be surprised seeing Harvard behind Princeton, however, the official rank by USNews puts Harvard as the second best university for this year. It is also a medium sized, and a private institution. Primarily a residential college, it is located in a urban setting, in a large city. Harvard also has the most amount of Nobel laureates by university affilation. The tuition and fees for Harvard are $45,278 for the year 2015-16.
- No. 3 – Yale University – Located in New Haven, Connecticut, Yale was founded in 1701. It offer’s bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. The tuition and fees for the year 2015-16 was $47,600.
- No. 4 – Columbia University – Columbia is a a medium-sized, private university, located in a large city. Its tuition and fees for this year is $51,008.
